Here I have listed some causes that I support. I'll add more as I think of them!
British Hen Welfare Trust - My friend Colin was a supporter of the BHWT. He died in 2009 and we raised a lot of money to give to them with which they bought some new hen house. I re-homed some hens from them in Dec 2012, sadly one of the birds attacked and killed the other two within a fortnight so our first experience of chicken keeping wasn't a complete success.
